Where do the real leadership opportunities lie for SDGs and health?

Big Issues

SESSION RECORDING

This session highlighted that while the Sustainable Development Goals were a key watershed in 2015 to move the global development agenda forward, there is still so much to be done now in 2024. Before the Summit of the Future in September, we must figure out how to bring health to the table and throughout the discussions, and this session was a first step in starting that conversation to determine next steps. As what we constitute "health" continues to expand, our ideas about how to engage in geopolitics, especially using health as a diplomatic mechanism for good, must be key.
