SESSION RECORDING
Climate change is a global challenge that requires coordinated action at the regional level. The Asia Pacific region is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and changes in precipitation patterns. In addition, environmental issues such as air pollution often transcend national borders. Regional collaboration is crucial for developing adaptation and mitigation strategies to address these impacts effectively.
This session hosted discussions on how to strengthen regional collaboration and partnerships in environmental health in the Asia Pacific region. It also addressed the shared environmental challenges faced by our region, and promoting sustainable development to safeguard the health and well-being of current and future generations.
