Big Issues

PROUDLY HOSTED BY

SESSION RECORDING

Childhood and adolescent obesity are ongoing issues, with shifting prevalence across the Asia Pacific region. Childhood obesity is multifactorial, influenced by individual, community, and environmental factors. Broader system change is required to combat obesity, with regulatory reform, community interventions, and surveillance necessary to address this multifactorial challenge. Collaborative approaches, advocacy, and community engagement will be critical for effective and sustained system change.
